THE GALLOWS (In theatres – July 10, 2015) From New Line Cinema comes the horror film “The Gallows.”
Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy—but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone.
The film stars Cassidy Gifford (“God’s Not Dead”), Ryan Shoos (“As Night Comes”), Reese Mishler (the web series “Youthful Daze”) and Pfeifer Brown under the direction of Chris Lofing and Travis Cluff, who wrote the screenplay.
Jason Blum (“Ouija,” the “Paranormal Activity” “Insidious” and “Sinister” franchises) produces with Guymon Casady (TV’s “Game of Thrones,” “The Expendables” franchise), Dean Schnider (“Hachi: A Dog’s Tale”), Benjamin Forkner (“The Killing Room”), Lofing and Cluff. Dave Neustadter, Walter Hamada and Couper Samuelson are the executive producers.
New Line Cinema presents, a Blumhouse/Entertainment 360/Tremendum Pictures production, a film by Chris Lofing & Travis Cluff, “The Gallows,” opening worldwide beginning July 10, 2015. The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
